THE GREAT ELEPHANT MIGRATION
The Elephant Family USA is launching a spectacular campaign in the United States that will tour for a year: The Great Elephant Migration, A Coexistence Story. Bringing to the US their majestuous elephant structures made with lantana, an invasive plant in India, this initiative aims to promote harmonious coexistence between humans and nature, similar to the practices of indigenous communities in India.
WHY IS THIS INITIATIVE IMPORTANT?
By using Lantana to create their structures, The Elephant Family contributes to managing this invasive vine while involving local indigenous communities and providing a platform to educate the public to protect our wildlife and flora. The Great Elephant Migration aims to raise awareness about the importance of coexistence, showing how we can all live in harmony with nature with a focus on local US species.
