Here in the first immersive experience in Auvergne Wildlife Park.
Since 1984, the Parc Animalier d’Auvergne has been welcoming visitors of all ages to the heart of the French mountains. In 2025, staying true to its mission of biodiversity preservation and environmental awareness, the park is partnering with Wild Immersion, a French pioneer in virtual reality experiences dedicated to the animal world.
This innovative collaboration offers visitors spectacular immersive adventures, while strengthening the park’s commitment to concrete actions for nature.
An enriched experience, in harmony with the visit
Wild Immersion’s content seamlessly complements the visitors’ traditional tour. Integrated into a path designed to awaken ecological consciousness, these immersive experiences provide a new way to explore wildlife and commit to its protection.
Entertaining and educational immersive experiences
The park offers a series of three virtual reality films, giving each visitor a unique opportunity to dive into the wild while contributing to conservation efforts. Indeed, each viewing results in a donation to the Play for Nature fund, under the slogan “1 FILM = 1 DONATION.” This year’s films include: “Asia Oceania,” “Savannah Cycle,” and “New Odyssey Around the World.”
Visitor feedback is overwhelmingly positive: 95% of guests say they would return for more immersive experiences if new films are released.

Additionally, the “Interactive Drawings” attraction brings visitors’ drawings to life across five different ecosystems. This playful experience helps guests discover species and their natural habitats, strengthening their connection to biodiversity.

Play for Nature: A Strong Commitment to Biodiversity
Play for Nature, co-founded by the park and former rugby player Julien Pierre, funds projects such as the reintroduction of endangered species into their natural environments. The fund also recently supported the planting of thousands of trees to restore degraded forest areas. Visitors can support these vital efforts and contribute to similar projects by donating through the Play for Nature website. Every contribution makes a real difference for our planet.
Why bring these immersives experiences to the Park?
The integration of immersive experiences at the Auvergne Wildlife Park aims to educate and raise public awareness about the importance of biodiversity.
As Marie DEMOULIN , the Park’s General Director, explains: “Offering these experiences not only enhances our visitors’ journey, but also engages them in our conservation efforts carried out through Play for Nature, the endowment fund we created. These virtual reality films build a crucial link between our conservation work at the Park… and around the globe!”
