Every year on June 8, World Ocean Day raises global awareness about the importance of protecting marine ecosystems. In 2025, Wild Immersion, a pioneer in wildlife film production, is proud to collaborate with Ocean Wise to present an immersive marine experience that brings people closer to the ocean and its extraordinary life forms.
An immersive wildlife film production inside the Sea Dome
As part of this initiative, Wild Immersion has produced a 10-minute wildlife film exclusively for Ocean Wise Sea Dome, a travelling inflatable dome used for marine life education and community engagement across Canada. This unique setting offers a 360° immersive wildlife experience, captivating audiences and inspiring a deeper connection with nature.
The film showcases stunning footage of marine animals in their natural habitats, including:
- Humpback whales
- Sperm whales
- Common dolphins
- California sea lions
- Green sea turtles
- Sardines in mesmerizing schools
This ocean conservation film will be screened in Richmond on June 8, 2025, as part of Ocean Wise’s World Ocean Day celebrations, engaging local communities, educators, and ocean lovers in a powerful moment of shared awareness.
